This is our brand new Carrier-Case for Blythe dolls. We wanted to make something special for dolls and ... we got like a jillion new ideas, all of them exciting but we thought the carrier case would be perfect as a starter. We werent wrong!! It took lost of time and patience to get every detail ready for this cute carrier. We got a tiny bell and a butterfly (we find it toooo cute). We wanted to get the best quality ribbons and fabrics. We went for a orange silk fabric with an amazing black velvet-like flowers pattern.
We firstly got a felty Blythe doll for the front side of the carrier. We had a cute pic of Rowan, one of our Blythe dolls, and wanted to make a felty reply of it.... and thats it! You can see her felt-ized in the front of the case. Just after we took the first inspiration step we decided a garden would perfectly match our tastes. We designed it in a few papers and we eventually got what we wanted to.
Getting the grass done was an achieving work.
I so loved sewing the bee and the ladybug... When it was kind of finished I got a few pics of it... meanwhile my cats were nosy as ever and wanted to know what the orange and black thingy was. Well.. I rather speak the truth... my cats know everything thats going on at home and if they dont like it they absolutely show their opinion. This time they seem to love the carrier.
We are so proud we make it. Its beautiful when you see it in pics but it looks more awesome when you see the real thing. I need to improve my skills as a photographer!
Rowans wanted it for herself but we told her it was for a doll we still dont know. Rowan is completely sure the doll who get it will be the luckiest one. Yaayyy agree with my lil Rowan!
